This itinerary is designed for most travelers in good health. There is walking at archaeological sites and some stairs, especially in Cusco and Machu Picchu. We recommend moderate fitness and comfortable walking shoes. Due to the high elevation, the hike to Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake will be the toughest day.
