He designed our entire journey — starting with two magical nights at Inkaterra Amazon Lodge, and ending with the breathtaking wonder of Machu Picchu. Had a fantastic time touring Lima, Cusco, and hiking the Salkantay to Machu Picchu! The food in Lima was out of this world. Traveling as a family can make it difficult to please everyone. David made sure the itinerary was full of activities to entertain our teenagers (Humantay hike, Rainbow Mountain) while also making reservations for us at Central. The Machu Picchu tour however was the high point of the trip and the entire family had a blast climbing Huayna Picchu.

We hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The scenery, the ruins, and even the meals along the way made it an experience I’d recommend to everyone at least once in their lifetime. David helped plan every detail of our 12-day journey through Peru and ensured we were well taken care of from start to finish. Our group of six explored Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) — each destination unforgettable in its own way. And if you’re in Cusco, don’t skip trying the famous cuy (guinea pig) — it tastes far better than it looks and makes for a great story to tell later!
